FAQ

Questions? We got you.

No fine print, no nonsense, just straight answers about how Questic works.

What actually is Questic?
Questic is a social quest and dare app for iOS. Every day your crew gets a fresh challenge: snap your proof, let your squad vote it through, earn XP and keep your streak alive. Think of it as the game you play with your actual friends IRL, not some random lobby.
How do daily quests work?
Each group gets one quest per day. Complete it, then submit a photo or short video as proof. Your crew votes to approve or reject the submission, majority rules. Get approved and you bank the XP and coins, and the group streak ticks forward. No proof, no points. Keeps things honest and lowkey hilarious.
Who can see my photos and videos?
Only the people in that group. Your quest proof lives in private, locked storage, never a public link, so it is only ever visible to your crew for that quest. Nobody outside your group, and no randoms, can see it. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Is Questic safe? Can I report someone?
Yes. You only quest with people you invite, there is no open public feed and no strangers dropping into your groups. If something is off, you can leave a group anytime, and you can report or remove content that breaks the rules. We do not sell your data, show ads, or use your stuff to train AI.
What are groups and crews?
A group is your quest circle: invite anyone with a shareable invite code and you all quest together. Every group builds its own shared streak, so the whole crew wins or loses it together. Free accounts can be in up to 2 groups at once. Upgrade to Quester Pro and that cap jumps to 5.
How do XP and levels work?
Every approved quest earns you XP. Fill the bar and you level up, climbing the leaderboard inside your group. The higher your level, the more your crew knows you actually show up. Activate a booster or go Pro and your XP gains double so you rank up way faster.
What is the difference between XP, coins and gems?
Three different things. XP levels you up and climbs the leaderboard inside your group. Coins are what you spend in the shop on frames, badges and themes. Gems are the premium currency for boosters, streak freezes and quest skips. You earn XP and coins just by playing.
What are streaks and what is a streak freeze?
A streak counts how many days in a row your group has completed its quest. Miss a day and the whole thing resets to zero. No mercy. Hit milestone streaks at 7, 30 and 100 days to unlock special rewards. A streak freeze is a one-use safety net: activate it with gems before midnight and your streak survives one missed day without breaking.
What is in the shop?
Spend your coins on avatar frames, profile badges, avatar accessories and full app themes that completely change how Questic looks. New drops rotate in regularly so there is always something fresh to flex. Some items are free, others cost coins, the currency you earn by completing quests. The rarest drip is reserved for serious questers.
What are boosters and how does the daily bonus work?
Boosters are power-ups you buy with gems: activate a 2x XP booster and every approved quest that day earns double XP; a 2x coins booster stacks your coin haul the same way. You can also spend gems on streak freezes or quest skips when the daily dare really is not for you. The daily bonus is a quick extra challenge that drops a free gem when you smash it: log in, do the thing, pocket the gem.
What if I do not want to do a dare?
No quest is ever forced. If the daily dare is not your thing, you can use a quest skip (costs gems) to swap out of it, or just sit that day out, though that puts the group streak at risk. Quests are meant to be fun and doable, never anything sketchy or unsafe.
What is Quester Pro?
Quester Pro is the optional upgrade that lets you go full gold. You get a gold name and gold avatar frame that everyone in your groups sees, access to the exclusive gold app theme, permanent 2x XP on every quest, and the ability to join up to 5 groups instead of 2. It is purely optional (you can play and progress without it), but Pro makes you unmissable. See everything Pro includes.
How much does Quester Pro cost, and can I cancel?
Quester Pro is an optional paid subscription billed through the App Store, so it is handled by Apple and you can cancel anytime from your iPhone settings. Pricing lands at launch. Everything core in Questic stays free, Pro is just the gold flex on top. See what is in Pro.
Is Questic free to play?
Yes, completely free to download and play. You can earn XP, level up, join groups, build streaks and unlock shop items just by showing up every day. Quester Pro is an optional paid upgrade with extra perks, but you will never be forced to pay to have fun. Free-to-play is the real game here.
Who is Questic built for?
Questic is built for teens aged 13 to 17. It is designed to be safe, social and fun: a way to stay connected with your actual friends through shared daily challenges. You need to be at least 13 to sign up. Questic is not built for kids under 13, and we follow the youth safety rules that apply to apps like ours (think GDPR and COPPA). Parents: there is more in our Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my account?
Straight from the app: open account settings and delete, no email needed. We remove your profile and personal data within 30 days. There is more on your data rights in our Privacy Policy.
When does Questic launch and on what devices?
Questic launches on iOS in June 2026, free to download from the App Store on day one. Android is coming too, just not at launch. We want to nail the iPhone experience first, then bring Questic to Android after. No firm date yet, but it is on the roadmap. Follow us so you know the second it drops.
