The rules for using Questic. Plain language, no legalese.
Last updated: June 17, 2026
Welcome to Questic. These Terms of Service ("Terms") explain the rules for using the Questic mobile app and questic.app. By creating an account, downloading the app, joining a group, buying a digital item, or otherwise using Questic, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Questic is operated by The Bair Company, trading publicly as The Bair Co., based in Glabbeek, Belgium. In these Terms, "Questic", "we", "us", and "our" mean The Bair Company and the Questic service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Questic. If you are under the age required by law to consent to online services on your own, you may only use Questic with permission from a parent or legal guardian. By using Questic, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 13, or that a user does not have required permission, we may delete the account and related personal data.
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login details safe. You agree to provide accurate information, use one account for yourself, and not impersonate another person, brand, or organisation.
Tell us at hello@questic.app if you think your account has been accessed without permission. We may ask you to verify your identity before helping with account access or data requests.
Questic is a social quest and dare app. Users can create groups, propose quests, vote on quest proposals, submit proof, vote on proof, earn XP, maintain streaks, unlock achievements, and customize their profile.
Most quests, dares, proof, votes, names, avatars, reactions, and group activity are created by users. Group votes help decide what appears inside a group, but group voting is not a safety guarantee and does not mean we reviewed or approved the activity.
Do not create, approve, attempt, or encourage a quest that could hurt someone, break the law, damage property, invade privacy, or put anyone in an unsafe situation. If something feels risky, do not do it.
You are responsible for your real-world actions. Questic is not responsible for injuries, losses, conflicts, school consequences, legal trouble, or damage caused by user-created quests or dares, except where the law says we cannot limit responsibility.
You agree not to use Questic to:
We may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, delete accounts, or report serious activity to relevant authorities when we believe these rules are broken.
Because Questic includes user-generated content, users must be able to report harmful content and abusive users. Use in-app reporting tools where available, or email hello@questic.app. We review reports and take action where appropriate.
We may use automated checks, manual review, group voting, admin tools, and account restrictions to reduce abuse. We cannot promise that every unsafe quest or message will be caught before someone sees it, so report anything that looks wrong.
If blocking, kicking, or leaving tools are available for a group or user interaction, you are responsible for using them when needed to protect your experience.
You keep ownership of the content you create or upload, including quest text, proof photos, proof videos, usernames, avatars, and reactions. By submitting content to Questic, you give us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, copy, process, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and support Questic.
For example, we may show your proof to members of the relevant group so they can vote, show your username in leaderboards, or keep moderation records when content is reported. We do not sell your content and we do not use your proof media in ads without your separate permission.
You must only upload content you have the right to share. If other people appear in a photo or video, you are responsible for having appropriate permission to upload it.
Groups may have admins. Admins may be able to manage members, quest packs, group settings, and moderation actions. Group members are responsible for keeping their own group safe and respectful. We may intervene if a group is used for abuse, unsafe dares, illegal activity, or other Terms violations.
Questic may offer digital currencies, digital items, boosters, and a premium subscription called Quester Pro. These are digital features for use inside Questic only. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be transferred outside your account.
Nothing in these Terms removes refund or cancellation rights you may have under mandatory consumer law.
If you download Questic from Apple's App Store, Apple's terms also apply. Apple is not responsible for Questic, our content, our support, or claims relating to Questic, except where Apple's own terms say otherwise.
You can delete your account in the app settings. Deletion is intended to remove your profile, group memberships, personal progress, and associated personal data from active systems, subject to the retention rules in our Privacy Policy and any legal obligations we must follow.
Some content may remain where needed for safety, dispute handling, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or where it has become part of another user's group activity in a way that cannot reasonably be separated. We will handle this as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account if you break these Terms, create safety risks, abuse the service, infringe rights, or if we are required to do so by law. Serious cases may lead to immediate removal.
You may stop using Questic at any time. Sections about safety, content rights, purchases, liability, disputes, and privacy can continue to apply after your account ends where needed.
Questic may change over time. We may add, remove, rebalance, or modify features, quests, rewards, premium perks, shop items, limits, or rules. We try to keep Questic available, but we do not guarantee that it will always be online, error-free, or available in every country or on every device.
Questic is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that user-generated quests are safe, accurate, appropriate, or approved by us. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, The Bair Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of profits, or harm caused by user-generated content or real-world actions taken by users.
Where liability cannot legally be excluded, our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim or €50. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer rights.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify you in the app, by email, or on the Site before or when the change takes effect. If you keep using Questic after the change, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you should stop using Questic and may delete your account.
These Terms are governed by Belgian law. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts of Belgium, unless mandatory consumer law in your country gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
